Flat Track racing rules for Minnesota AMA District 23 and AMA National can be found at: AMA District 23 and AMA National Rule Book

Minnesota Specific Rules:

ARTICLE IV, SPECIFIC RULES FOR FLAT TRACK AND TT SCRAMBLES, MOTORCYCLES AND ATV QUADS.

Typical race day entry fees at Minnesota race tracks:

Must have an AMA Membership - $39 per rider and available at track

Must have a District 23 Membership - one day pass optional - $10 to $50 depending on membership level and available at track. Other AMA District card OK.

Pit Pass: $10
Mini's - $25
Amateur - $30
Pro - $40

50's Race Free - Bikes or Quads

Some tracks give a class discount if you race 3 amateur classes or more.

Various tracks offer camping from zero to $10 per night.

  • Helmets must be worn at all times when riding any Off Road Vehicle, ATV’s, Motorcycles or any other Off Road Vehicle allowed by Flattrackmn.com, LLC.

  • All riders are responsible for the condition (brakes, kill switch, throttle operation, etc.) of their Off Road Vehicle and for determining safety of the racecourse/track.

  • All riders must assess and ride to their own abilities based on the racecourse or track.

  • The rider must wear the appropriate protective apparel. Helmets, boots, gloves, long sleeved shirts and eye protection are required at all times. Hiking boots and boots with heels are not allowed.

  • Off Road Vehicle riding is not allowed in the spectator area. You are confined to the pits. No exceptions.

  • Non-Racers are not allowed to ride any Off Road Vehicles at any time on the grounds.

  • Parents must supervise children at all times.

  • All people in the pit area are required to have a pit pass.

  • Rider(s) under the age of 18 must have parent or legal guardian sign all race and release forms. If the parent or legal guardian is not present, the rider(s) must have a notarized waiver release from the parent or legal guardian for the event that they are competing in that day/night, or the rider(s) will not be allowed to race. No exceptions.

  • There must be at least 10 riders to have a class.

  • NO Insurance provided.

  • NO Ambulance on site.
